About me... I do this blogging thing every now and again. I am not sure if I am even getting it right - but it's an outlet :)
I am passionate about reading and so I write a lot of reviews.

Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer
Edward’s soft voice came from behind me. I turned to see him spring lightly up the porch steps, his hair windblown from running. He pulled me into his arms at once, and kissed me again. His kiss frightened me. There was too much tension, too strong an edge to the way his lips crushed mine – like he was afraid we had only so much time left to us.
As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob – knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death. But which is which?
This book took me much much much longer to read than the last one (New Moon). I had less time to mope around this time and a busy Easter weekend so I guess it’s a good thing.
In this installment we find out more about the rest of the family; Rosalie tells Bella her transformation story (and how she met Emmett) as does Jasper with regards to his military human life and the newborns (as well as how he met Alice and they became part of the Cullen family). Jasper plays a more prominent part in this book; leading from his story to the actual fight with the newborns which is one of the main events of the book. The fight and the preparation for the fight is the exciting part of the book. It involves a coalition with the wearwolves, and the Volturi make a brief appearance.
What I do find really strange is that Bella wants to spend eternity with Edward but not marry him; when marriage is less of a commitment in this day and age than the choice of eternity would be. Is it just me?
I also find she obsesses about the small stupid almost irrelevant things – like not wanting presents, the graduation party, the ring etc; when the real issues like not seeing her family ever again seem much less important to her.
Jacob Black. I am definitely an avid Team Jacob supporter. As much as Edward loves and adores Bella, Jacob’s love is more real, more human, more tangible. I would want that. Choosing hot over cold. Wolf over Vampire. But that’s not how the story plays out unfortunately. The fact that Bella is not as heart broken over him is cruel. Especially when Jake is so heart broken over her in the end.
On to the wedding I guess then..
Does anyone have a version of the next and final installment Breaking Dawn for me to borrow? Just putting it out there.
