So I have decided to “can” my other blog for Amber – my saddle fund – as I no longer have a horse and have incorporated it into this blog.
I still want to acknowledge the Sponsors that helped me get to where I am in terms of riding and horses and my saddle:
I have a few personal thank you’s to make:
A big thank you goes to Renea Erasmus at Shumbashaba for stabling Amber and for all the lessons, training and assistance she have given me with riding etc!!
Lynette Blackie for helping me get back into riding and organising for me to buy Amber in the first place 🙂
Tamaryn Moss for being such an awesome friend and for helping me train and work my horse 🙂
Greg from Equestrian House for giving me the opportunity to get my own saddle – even though I had to work really really hard to get it was worth it in the end 🙂
And this is a piece of the the blurb from the about us page:
Tipuana Amber is my little 15 hand mare.
She was born on 1 October 2007.
She is bay with black mane and tail. She has one sock on her right back leg. She also has a full white stripe on her face.
Amber is a part bred Welsh Cob and has with Arab and Warmblood in her too.
I bought her in September 2009 from Tipuana Stud Farm with the help of my parents.
She first resided in Bapsfontein at a stud farm belonging to a very good family friend until April 2010. Then I moved her closer to where I lived and worked so I could see her more; to a stable in Mnandi called Shumbashaba.
And since December 2012 she has been living at stable yard in Benoni.
